    I walked at Spring Lake with Sophie today. Cold & windy – 46 degrees. Bird highlights were Northern Flicker, Common Merganser, Green Heron, and Steller's Jay. We also came upon an older couple happily birdwatching together, as well as a park ranger with his binoculars.
